Getting Started with Outstanda (Young Students Edition)
We’re thrilled to have you join us on this exciting journey of learning and growth. Watch the intro video below to discover how you can earn rewards, develop new skills, and achieve success with Outstanda!
Here are important things to get started:
- Use your real name and birthdate. We can’t pay you without it.
- Don’t have an address? You can use your school’s address.
- Use an email you can check and get into easily.
Important:
- Never share your password! If someone gets it, they can steal your money.
- Outstanda will never ask for things like a bank account or credit card.
Stay safe and have fun learning! 😊 - REMEMBER Your Password – Very Important.
Links you will need:
- Set Up New Account (You must have permission*)
- Forgot Password
* Permission: Your parent or guardian must be with you when you sign up, or your school can help you if they have notified parents and have permission.
When you log in:
- Don’t See Information? When you first register, you might not see any courses. Let your school know your registration email.
- Pending Learning Gigs? If you see bending licenses for Learning Gigs, accept them so you can take the course.
Your Learning Gigs:
- Study: You will need to pay attention in class and also study on your own. There will not be trick questions, but the questions do make sure you know the information in the readings.
- Projects: Your teacher will approve projects and decide when they are done. If you do a group project, everyone must help on the project or they cannot get credit.
- Assessment: When your teacher is happy with your project and how much you studied, they can unlock the assessment for you. You must do it in the room with a teacher there.
- You may use pencil and paper if you need it. Paper must be blank at the beginning.
- No calculators or phones.
- No going to other websites.
- You can take the assessment 1 time each day until you pass with 8 out of 10 questions right.
- Do not cheat. If you cheat, you might not get paid anymore. If you do not pass, just study more and try again the next day.
- Your teacher cannot help you during assessments unless you need special support.
Getting Paid:
- Each time you pass a mastery assessment in Outstanda, you get paid.
- This reward amount goes to your account.
- When you have enough in your account, you can request your rewards.
- Young kids should choose gift cards and use them with the help of their guardians.
- Gift cards take a few days to process and are sent to your email.
- You can then use them in a store or online shopping.
- You can forward the digital giftcard from your email to a guardian’s email so they can help you buy something with it.
