Every summer, countless students fall behind—especially those already facing challenges. Outstanda’s Summer XP Program is designed to change that. With your support, students in your community will gain access to a 4-week academic experience that rewards effort, builds confidence, and closes learning gaps.

How are students chosen?
If you specify a school or district for your sponsorship, we’ll reach out to them up to three times to identify students who are both interested and likely to complete the program. If no students are identified, the funds are moved to our general scholarship pool.
How are students paid?
Students earn $25 per completed lesson, paid via digital gift cards usable at over 30 national retailers.
How does Outstanda assure learning outcomes?
Each week, students complete both a project (reviewed by a teacher) and a mastery assessment. They must score 80% to pass and can retake the assessment once per day until the program ends.
What is the total cost to sponsor a student?
$250 sponsors one student for the full 4-week program, including teacher support, learning materials, and $100 in earned incentives.
Is this program only for struggling students?
Not at all. While many participants face barriers to success, the program is designed to challenge and reward effort at all levels.
Can I sponsor more than one student?
Absolutely. Many sponsors support multiple students or entire classrooms. You can specify the number of students or total amount you’d like to give.
Can I make a donation by check?

Is Outstanda a nonprofit?
Yes, Outstanda is a registered 501(c)(3) Ohio nonprofit. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
