Step by Step School Setup

Outstanda for Schools sets up in a few steps. To keep costs low, setup is self-serve; we’re always available by email if you need help.

Step 1: Create Administrator Account

To set up a school you must first set up an Outstanda account. Use your real information. You must be 18 or older to administer a school.  Admin Doc

Tip: If you already have an Outstanda account, you can use it—no second account needed.

Step 2: Verify Email (Magic Link)

Click the magic link we email you to log in.

Tip: Add outstanda.org to your email allowlist—some school filters are strict.

Step 3: Request School Access

Decide how many licenses you need. Licenses are reusable if students leave or finish.

Step 4: Add Teachers and Report Viewers

Approve teachers and anyone who needs reporting access (they’ll create their own free Outstanda accounts). Teacher Doc | Reporting Doc

Tip: Teachers create class codes; students enter the code to share reports and progress.

Step 5: Share the Parent Handout

Parents and students own the account and data. Your school gains reporting access when families use your class code. Parent Doc | Student Doc

Tip: The handout in your dashboard explains setup and keeps access portable if students change schools.

Step 67: Monitor Reports Weekly

Use the school dashboard to track students and classrooms across literacy, logic, and math. AI grades check-ins instantly; charts update as students complete their two-minute weekly activities.

Tip: More data points = more accurate trends. Encourage weekly use.
